Hello and welcome!
I’m the April behind April Massad Photography and this is my blog!

Photography has always been my passion. I got my first camera for Christmas when I was 5 and I’ve never been the same! My poor siblings had to endure photo sessions with quilts hanging as backdrops for years until I opened my studio when I was 21.

In the last 10 years I have opened a studio, moved a studio, helped my husband through dental school, worked for some of the best photographers out there, and I have been lucky enough to stay home with my son for the last 5 years.

During those last 5 years I have photographed sessions part time, but I have also stayed up with the latest and greatest in the photography world!

I love attending workshops, events, and keeping up with the ever evolving world of photography!
I have also been scrapbooking and doing assignment work for a magazine called Creating Keepsakes! I have always enjoyed crafting and what goes better with photography than scrapbooking? I love doing custom work such as invitations, announcements, and wall art! If you have something in mind let me know!

I have jumped back into the world of photography and I want to thank everyone that has stuck with me along the way! It is mind boggling to think I am now photographing some of my first high school senior’s babies! I love those relationships we have formed over the years!
